BEHIND THE SCENES: No charges for neighbour who shot dog

Village Media journalist Erika Engel talks about the heartbreaking story of Riot the dog, who was shot by a neighbour who apparently mistook the beloved pet for a coyote

CollingwoodToday has been following the heartbreaking story of Riot the dog, who was shot and killed by a neighbour in Nottawa who apparently mistook the brindle Dutch shepherd for a coyote.

Last week, both the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and the Ontario Provincial Police announced that no charges would be laid against the neighbour.

CollingwoodToday editor Erika Engel, who broke the original story, was a recent guest on Village Media's "Behind the Scenes."
