Celebrating 32 Years of Service in June 2023 - since June 11, 1991!

We are the Rotary Club of Fonthill, and we've been serving our community since June 11, 1991. With 36 members, we've undertaken various initiatives over the years to improve our community. Our projects have included planting trees, developing the Steve Bauer Trail, constructing the Bandshell, and more. Through fundraising events such as golf tournaments, TV auctions, barbecues, and Purse Bingo, we've raised over $300,000 for community and international projects. As a club, we place a strong emphasis on youth and have a scholarship program, host youth from around the world through Youth Exchange, and support leadership programs. Additionally, we've donated to campaigns to End Polio and have been involved in COVID-19 relief efforts, such as providing masks and oxygen generators. Most recently, we participated in the Great Lakes Watershed project to clean up waterways in the region. It quickly spread through a number of Districts in Canada and the United States, involving hundreds of Rotary clubs and thousands of Rotarians, to clean up many waterways making up the watershed area of all 5 Great Lakes. Such is the power of Rotary.
