Sam Oosterhoff is currently Member of Provincial Parliament for Niagara West.

Having grown up in the Niagara Peninsula, Sam has always had a deep appreciation for faith, family and service to community. Since his first election in 2016, Sam has been working hard to represent the interests, priorities and concerns of Niagara West families and job creators.

Sam has taken leadership on areas such as anti-human trafficking policy, French-language education, student transportation and educational agencies.

Sam’s first Private Member’s Bill became law in December 2020. The Compassionate Care Act mandates the creation of a palliative care framework in Ontario.

Sam also serves as a Member of the Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly and Member of the Select Committee on Emergency Management Oversight.

Sam is happily married to Keri. Their son, Sullivan, was born in January 2021.

Sam is incredibly proud to represent his home community of Vineland, and all of the hard-working families of Niagara West as their MPP. He continues to work hard to ensure a better future for all Ontarians.
