I appreciated your article about the online gambling that is advertised constantly on sporting events.
I, too, was very disappointed in our sport heroes in the promotion. I find it interesting that the ads have a line at the bottom promoting gambling responsibly and that you must be 18 years of age.
I am certain that there are many ways to get around the age issue. I read an article by a gambler who is now a member of a help group, but the urge today is still so strong that when the ads appear on his TV he has to get up and leave the room.
I found it interesting and surprising that below the article about banning the gambling on TV sporting events you ran an ad for a 50-50 charity draw. Rather ironic, don't you think?
