The Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) wrestling championships were held in Ottawa last week, and two E.L. Crossley students came home with bronze medals.
Seth Ozog, wrestling at 83 kilograms, and Ella Andrew at 95 kilograms, both finished third in their respective categories.
Crossley Wrestling Coach Ryan Weicker said that Reed Ozog (72 kilograms) and Heath Ozog (67 kilograms) also competed well at the tournament.
The Crossley wrestlers train out of Thorold and Eden high schools, but are part of the Brock Junior Badgers Wrestling Club, said Weicker. “We are always looking for new members,” he added.
