PelhamToday received the following letter regarding Wainfleet council:
Reading Andrew Watts’ letter to the editor I could not agree more fully with his comments regarding the Wainfleet taxpayer couple trying so hard to survive from unbelievable stress placed on them by previous and present local municipal governments.
I too attended the meeting and was absolutely appalled by their non- reaction to the presenter, who showed and let everyone hear a recording of the actual vibration sounds the couple are forced to listen to daily.
You cannot help feel it is subhuman to have to be exposed to such torture.
There was not one shred of empathy, caring or even a whisper of how the Wainfleet mayor and council can give any help whatsoever to this couple.
As he left, Watts spoke out loud, saying, “That was disgusting,’’ which was well deserved and oh so on the mark.
