PelhamToday received the following letter to the editor from reader Martin Harley, in response to LETTER: Costs of growth should be borne by those who profit from it

Fonthill has a glowing example and slap in the face from the developer at the corner of Hwy 20 and Station St. The site looks like the town dump. Shame on Town Hall and any excuses they can come up with.

I have been in design, development and construction for over 50 years, currently working on a development in St Catharines and never would I leave a site like that and anyone (trades / suppliers) will attest I am fair, do not add big markups and at end of a project if we make 6 percent profit, it was a good day.

Pelham is known for been ripe for greed-reapers.

The Town has the power through the site plan deposit agreement to go in and grade and seed the dump land while that developer sits with their Margarita on a Bahama beach.
