PelhamToday received the following letter to the editor from a reader regarding yesterday's Faith Lift column about Jordan Peterson:
Mr. Peterson espouses white male dominance in a time when more diversity and inclusion are integral to correct the imbalances of the past. This is only one of the reasons he is no longer at the University of Toronto.
Mr. Peterson says he has only a small percentage of female followers. He denies that women lived with oppression, many still do. He suggests men should dominate women whether in careers or elsewhere.
Mr. Peterson appears to cultivate those on the far right who feel society owes them. Those with a prejudicial attitude towards women and LGBQT people have found an ally in Mr. Peterson. Christian values are not what Mr Peterson is touting in his books or online.
