PelhamToday received the following reader letter about politician Pierre Poilievre.
Pierre Poilievre's rhetoric suggests strongman aspirations.
However, Canada elects its leaders through a democratic process of majority support.
Mr Poilievre's latest ads presenting a softer veneer is the chameleon's response to his awareness of the environment: the seniors and older women are not convinced of Poilievre's intentions. His marketing is a shallow camouflage to cultivate votes .
More autocratic than democratic is Mr Poilievre. Perhaps Mr Poilievre will recognize taxpayers need to hear real solutions to the growing inequities, caused by world wide events more than domestic policy. Easy to blame present government but more difficult to collaborate with others to bring about positive change for the good of Canada.
Mr Poilievre is a bit of a political chameleon at present.
Our country is far from broken (his words). Fear mongering is not in the best interest of Canadians .
Time alone will tell if Pierre Poilievre is capable of being the "gatekeeper" (his words), the next Prime Minister.
