PelhamToday received the following letter about recent statements by the federal finance minister.
Last week, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland made a statement that taxes are a way of life and that Canadians should embrace them.
Her understanding seemed to be we should be grateful to support any tax increases that would help someone else's way of life. This utter nonsense is paternalistic, and getting us to a place where extreme socialism lives!
I would like to see Trudeau and Freeland's tax returns, to show us how far out of touch they really are with ordinary Canadians.
