PelhamToday received the following letter to the editor from a reader regarding Pelham Cares' food drive:
On behalf of the staff and students at A.K. Wigg Public School, I would like to extend a very sincere and heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to our annual food drive for Pelham Cares.
Our intermediate students were very excited to be back out once again, collecting your donations, which we were able to pass along to the Pelham Cares organization for distribution to those in need this holiday season. We were truly amazed at your generosity and kindness. Our school was able to collect 5798 pounds of donations this year!
We would like to extend a special thank you to our friends at Pelham Cares for their ongoing help and support in this endeavour. We are already looking forward to being back out collecting again in our school community next year. Best New Year’s wishes to everyone.
