The Ministry of Transportation reminds drivers there will be a full closure of QEW Niagara-bound lanes on the Burlington Skyway tomorrow night.
On Friday evening, July 7 from 8 p.m until 9:30 a.m on Saturday, the road is being closed so crews can undertake critical repairs, the ministry said in a news release.
Advance signage and notification will be provided to motorists so they can plan an alternate route, the release states.
The work involves the removal and replacement of an expansion joint system.
"Expansion joints for road bridges are critical to ensure the continuity of the road surface as well as load bearing capacity and the movement of the bridge," the MTO said.
