ROTARY CLUB OF FONTHILL

The Rotary Club of Fonthill held its annual Board Changeover Event at Wellspring Niagara on Wednesday, June 28.
In addition to the formal induction of a new president, president-elect and confirmation of the Board for 2023-24, Paul Harris Fellows were awarded to eight members. Paul Harris recipients at the event were Paul Allen, Pat Duncan, Mel Groom, John Julien, Andrew Larmand, Gail Levay, Randy Momot, and Lance Wiebe. These are in addition to Paul Harris awards presented earlier in the Rotary Year at our annual Paul Harris Dinner.
It was also announced that long time Rotary member Paul Allen has been added as a member of the Paul Harris Society.
The Paul Harris Fellow is the highest award The Rotary Foundation bestows and Membership in the Paul Harris Society acknowledges a yearly commitment to a donation of $1,000 USD each year. The Club now has 18 Paul Harris Fellows and two members who are members of the Paul Harris Society.
Rotarian of the Year for 2022-23 was awarded to Frank Adamson for his outstanding work in our community and beyond, most notably the successful completion of the ‘Raise the Arches’ campaign, in time for Summerfest 2023!
