It's tax time: Final bills in the mail June 8

Pelham's 2023 final property tax bill was mailed out on June 8. Residents who have not received their bill by June 19 are encouraged to contact the tax department via email or by phone at 905-980-6678.

Residents are reminded to retain their final tax bill from the June mailing, for 2023 income tax purposes.

Tax bills have a breakdown of applicable increases on the back of the invoices which highlight the levies for provincial education, the region, town of Pelham, the regional transit and the regional waste management.   

Residents are encouraged to review the insert included in the mailing that details frequently asked questions regarding taxes in Pelham. Additional information on payment options can also be found at www.pelham.ca/taxes.

Below are the due dates for the upcoming Town of Pelham instalments.

First Instalment: Friday, June 30, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.

Second Instalment: Friday, September 29, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.

Property owners can also avoid penalty charges by ensuring all payments are received by 4:30 p.m. on the due date. Payments made directly through financial institutions must be made in advance of the due date to allow for bank processing time.
