At the request of Mayor Marvin Junkin, Niagara Regional Police Service Chief Brian MacCulloch stopped in at Pelham Town Hall for a chat on Monday, July 17. The one-hour meeting covered various topical subjects concerning both the Town and the Region.
Junkin tells PelhamToday that he reiterated the need for increased speed enforcement, as well as continued attention to loud vehicles, both in town and throughout the Region. Discussion also touched on the ongoing narcotics problems in the Region, and the arrival this fall of Vision Zero Road Safety traffic cameras at the intersection of Highway 20 and Victoria Avenue.
