On Friday, Feb. 16, youth and volunteers from 3rd Fonthill Scouting were at the Meridian Community Centre with Mayor Marvin Junkin and members of council to raise the Scouts Canada flag as the kick off to Scout-Guide Week. Council also proclaimed scout-guide week in Pelham.
3rd Fonthill has youth ages 5-plus participating in the coed program. The group, which is led by a team of volunteers that helps to facilitate the youth-led adventures, had an all-section campfire with hot chocolate on their Wednesday meeting night to celebrate the week.
