Dave Augustyn, Mayor of Pelham, announced by Tweet this morning that he intended to file nomination papers to run for Chair of Niagara Region.
The Tweet was one of a series in which Augustyn touted his record over 12 years as mayor of Pelham. In a follow-up Tweet, Augustyn wrote that the focus of his campaign will be "integrity, prosperity, compassion."
