Rotary Interact Club at E.L. Crossley holds food drive for Pelham Cares

Students help restock empty shelves at non-profit supporting those in need
Members of the Interact Club with Rotary Club of Fonthill volunteers on Monday at E.L. Crossley Secondary School.

The Rotary Interact Club of E.L. Crossley is back up and running once again.

This energetic group of students is supported by their teacher Mr. Yando.  They are meeting every other Wednesday at the school to discuss and plan community service projects.

Their first project was to hold a school-wide food drive to help restock the empty shelves of Pelham Cares.

Members of the Rotary Club of Fonthill, which sponsored the Interact Club’s creation many years ago, were glad to help deliver the food from the school to Pelham Cares.

Staff at Pelham Cares were extremely appreciative as the need for food in our community is great.

Interact  is Rotary International's service club for young people ages 14 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
