With tens of thousands of likely visitors, the Town is encouraging the use of its shuttle service for Summerfest 2023.

With previous Pelham Summerfest attendance exceeding 40,000 visitors during the four-day event, those visiting this year are encouraged to use alternate transportation to get to the festival. Visitors during this year’s event from July 13-16 are encouraged to walk, bike or take the free shuttles to Pelham Summerfest.

This year, visitors will be able to choose from two shuttle options. The first shuttle will be a direct trip between the free parking area at the Meridian Community Centre and the festival. The extended shuttle service, offered on Friday and Saturday, will be a 45-minute continuous loop with stops at the Fenwick Municipal Lot, Old Pelham Town Hall, the Ridgeville Pumping Station, and the festival.

Shuttle services will be available during the following times:

Thursday 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm – Direct Shuttle Route from the Meridian Community Centre only

Friday 3:30 pm - Midnight – Both Shuttles

Saturday 1:00 pm - 1:00 am – Both Shuttles

“It’s highly encouraged for residents and guests to walk, bike or utilize the shuttle services to help make the most of their Pelham Summerfest experience. The two shuttle services will provide visitors with a direct link to Pelham Summerfest,” said Town Communications Specialist Leah Letford. “Visitors to Pelham Summerfest are encouraged to be considerate of local businesses and private parking lots and avoid parking in these areas.”

For those who choose to drive, special event parking is permitted at the following locations:

Pelham Town Square, Station Street & surrounding streets

Meridian Community Centre – 100 Meridian Way, Fonthill

St. Alexander's School – 26 Highway 20 East, Fonthill

St. Alexander's Church – 50 Pelham Town Square, Fonthill (only available Saturday, July 15, after 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 16, after 12 p.m.)

A free bike valet service will also be offered to visitors from 4 – 9:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The bike valet service allows those riding bikes to the festival to have them tagged and then stored in a designated bike area and monitored by volunteers.
