The closure of a road in Wainfleet is being extended into October.
Boyle Road has been shut down between River Road and East Chippawa Road for bridge rehabilitation work since May.
It was originally hoped the stretch could reopen by September 8, however the township now says it will need to stay closed until October 20.
“It will be open to local traffic and emergency services from the South from River Road to 82620 Boyle Road and from the north from East Chippawa Road to 505 Boyle Road,” the Township of Wainfleet said in a news release. “It will be completely closed at the bridge.”
