March 25, 1948 - March 14, 2024
After a courageous battle with cancer, he peacefully left this world, with his loving family by his side, at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the age of 75. Thomas leaves behind a legacy of strength, love and resilience.
Forever loved husband and best friend of 54 years to Gail. Much loved father of Janice Spratt (Tim), Tracy Moriarty (Patrick), and Shari Halsall-Evangelisti. Cherished grandfather of Colton (Makayla), Justin, Adria, Alicia, Julia, Macy and great grandfather to Lucas.
Dear and loving son of Rena and the late Albert Halsall. Thomas is predeceased by sisters Louise, Judy and brother Richard. He is survived by brothers Herbert, Robert, David, Steven, sisters Betty Jane and Joan.
Throughout his battle with cancer, Tom demonstrated incredible bravery and determination, inspiring all who knew him. Despite the challenges he faced, he never lost his trademark optimism or his sense of humor. His spirit will continue to guide us in our darkest moments, reminding us to cherish each day and to embrace life's joys with open arms.
Tom worked at General Motors for 30 years, loved euchre, golfing with Gail, and walking his Rosie.
In keeping with Tom's wishes cremation has taken place.
