It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Donna on Monday, April 22nd following a brief illness, just five weeks before her 75th birthday.
Loving mother of David (Melanie) and grandmother of Melody (Sean) and Dael. Dear sister of Maureen (late George Szewczyk) and David (Maree) Graham. She will be deeply missed by her special mother-in-law, Mary Horhota, sisters-in-law: Janet (Brian) Riddell and Marilyn Wilson as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Patricia Graham, brothers: John (Barb) and Patrick and her long-time partner, Jim Chayko, with whom she enjoyed travel with and trips to the cottage. She also leaves behind close friends; Lynne Lane and special long-time friend, Diane Marino, her husband Len, their children Jay (Meredith), Jenna (Devin) and grandchildren, John-Ferris, Ruby and Forrest.
Donna enjoyed a 25 year career with General Motors, retiring in 2006. Although she has left us, her semi-sarcastic wit, occasional blunt "Donnaisms" and overall legacy of love and generosity will endure among all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
At Donna's request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
