It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Leonard Knapman on March 4, 2024 in his 80th year. Loving dad of Denise (Jeff) Superka and Calvin Knapman. Cherished “Grandpa Poppy” of Nadine (Mike) Quinlan, Carley Superka and great grandpa to Scarlett Quinlan. Gary is survived by his sisters Anita (Don), Lorraine (Gord) and his brother Garnet (Gwen). He will be missed by his cousins, nieces and nephews as well as his many friends. He is predeceased by his grandson Tanner Superka, his brother Harvey Knapman and his parents Ralph and Iris Knapman. Music and cars were Gary’s two greatest loves. All will be welcomed to visit Gary’s family on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Lampman Funeral Home, 724 Canboro Rd, Fenwick. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 10am in the funeral home’s chapel with interment to follow at Fonthill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Lung Association or COPD Canada or Niagara Dog Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
