NEWS RELEASE
NIAGARA REGIONAL POLICE
***************************
On May 25, Niagara Regional Police Service officers assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls / Niagara-on-the-Lake) responded to three separate suspicious vehicle complaints in the area of Richard Crescent near Glavcic Drive, Shoveller Drive near Madison Crescent, and Matthews Drive near Montrose Road.

A newer model black Ford Expedition bearing Ontario licence registration CLWS335 has pulled into three residential driveways.  The licence plate has been reported stolen from Etobicoke, Ont. and does not belong on the Ford Expedition.  A suspect exits the vehicle and knocks loudly on the front door.  One break-and-enter can be attributed to this suspect. In the other two instances, the suspect left the area after knocking on the door.

It is believed the suspect may be seeking out residential homes for the purpose of conducting a break-and-enter.  Members of the public are asked to keep observation for the vehicle and if seen, contact the Niagara Regional Police Service Communications Unit by dialing 905-688-4111.

Those with information related to this investigation are asked to contact the lead detective by dialing 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009483.

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
