Police seek to ID suspects in commercial break-in in Welland

Pair ransacked the office and premises, stealing industrial rubber, merchandise, metal, and tools, police say

Police are trying to identify two suspects in a break-in in Welland that took place about a week ago.

On Friday, 3 District (Welland / Pelham) uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to a report of a commercial break and enter at a business on Kennedy Street near Ross Street. 

An initial investigation determined two suspects had entered the business on June 24 at around 6:50 p.m.

The pair ransacked the office and premises, stealing industrial rubber, merchandise, metal, and tools, police said in a news release. The value of the damage and stolen goods is still being calculated.

Suspect 1 is described as:

  • White male
  • 25-35 years old
  • Slim build, approximately 175 lbs.
  • Approximately 5’10 feet tall
  • Brown curly hair collar length
  • Brown facial hair
  • Wearing a blue Under Amour t-shirt with an orange and yellow logo, dark jeans, dark shoes, and a backwards white and green baseball cap.

Suspect 2 is described as:

  • White male
  • 25-35 years old
  • Slim build, approximately 175 lbs.
  • Approximately 5’10 feet tall
  • Bald
  • Wearing a grey track pants, a dark coloured short-sleaved t-shirt and running shoes
