It’s never too early to plan some family fun! May 15 is the last day to get early-bird pricing on The Rotary Club of Fonthill (RCOF) Family FarmFest 2023, so it’s time to grab your tickets for the June 17 event.

This exciting day is Rotary’s new family-friendly fundraiser, replacing Family FunFest as its biggest event of the year. “We decided to branch out, expand to a bigger facility, focus on the rural nature of our community here, and host a FarmFest at White Meadows Farms,” explained Rotary spokesperson Dave Schulz.

Schulz went on to say that FarmFest is going to be lots of fun for the whole family. “There will be live country music, great food vendors and a BBQ, unicorn rides, line dancing, a petting zoo, lots of farm demos and activities, and so much more,” enthused Schulz. “It really will be a great day for everyone in the family.”

Early-bird pricing for FarmFest is just $40 for a family of four. After May 15 the price goes to $50 per family, $15 per person, and $10 for kids aged 3 to 13. You can grab your tickets here.

Rotary is pleased at the amount of community support for FarmFest already. “We have some great sponsors signed on, including Kwik Fit, B4 Networks Inc., Peavey Mart, Martin Sheppard Fraser LLP, Pelham Today, and Country 89,” said Schulz. “Of course, there is lots of room for more sponsors,” he expanded.

All proceeds from the event go to help local charities and non-profits that Rotary supports. In the past, this large event has supported breakfast programs for kids, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Pelham Cares, among others. “We would love to get as many sponsors and tickets sold as possible, to be able to support important organizations in our community,” said Schulz.

There are several tiers of sponsorship, ranging from Platinum level at a $3000 commitment, down to sign sponsorship at $150. “We want every business in the area to be able to participate, so just reach out and we can help you, help us,” said Schulz. Businesses interested in sponsoring can email Paul Snack through the website here.

So, what are you waiting for? Rotary’s FarmFest is a great opportunity to help your community and enjoy a wonderful farm-filled day of fun with your whole family. Get your tickets and get involved, today. www.rotarycluboffonthill.ca.
