LETTER: 'Report a Problem' feature on town's website 'waste of resources'

PelhamToday received the following letter from a frustrated reader regarding a feature of the Town of Pelham's website:

The website for the Town of Pelham has a feature called "Report a Problem." I would like to report a problem with "Report a Problem."

I have reported a problem on three occasions and have yet to receive a reply to any of my concerns. An email acknowledgement that my notice has been received is sent out, but invariably no response to my actual enquiry is ever addressed by Town staff. Not sure why they have this feature on the website. There does not seem to be any desire or proclivity by Town staff to answer "Report a Problem" queries. 

Are there any other citizens out there who have experienced this same issue? Just seems to be a waste of resources to have this feature on the Town's website if it does not generate any diligent response. 

Unfortunately, it just seems to be another example of inefficient utilization of public finances.
