It is with heavy hearts and many tears that the family of Randy announces his peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in his 65th year. Randy was a loving, devoted husband and very best friend to Noreen (deRuyte) for over 44 years. He was a wonderful, caring and generous dad to three daughters, Celeste “Muffy” Williams-Rice, Carrie “Jones” Mayr (Manuel) and Randi “Pete” Williams (Lionel Lambert). He was predeceased by his infant son Jason. Grandpa to six fun loving and compassionate grandchildren, Hunter and Tyler Rice, Patrick and Rebecka Mayr and Lillian and Willow Lambert. He leaves behind his loving mother Audrey Williams, brothers Robert Williams (Margie) and Don Williams (Angela). He was predeceased by his father Robert Williams. He will be sadly missed by his loving in-laws, Frank and Mary deRuyte. As well as in-laws Velma Hughes (Dave) and Frank deRuyte Jr. Randy will also be missed by his Aunt and Uncle, many nieces, nephews, cousins, PSW’S, friends and neighbours who are all family.

Randy was no ordinary man and being wheelchair bound never stopped him from doing what he loved and things others thought impossible. He loved nature, fishing, gardening and spending time with his little buddies Angel and Toby. Randy will be forever missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends will be received at the Pelham Funeral Home 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Monday, January 2nd and Tuesday, January 3rd from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service to honour Randy’s life will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 4th beginning at 11 a.m. The family kindly asks that masks be worn. Interment will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Wainfleet, with a luncheon to follow at Wainfleet Fire Hall, 31917 Park St.

The service can be viewed via livestream by going to the funeral homes Facebook page.

A special thank you to all his doctors throughout the years and the ICU doctors and nursing and support staff of Welland Hospital for his wonderful care during this difficult time.
